Commitment to natural life

In Hiranyagarba we rely on a current of thought that believes that true health comes from the integration of three aspects of being: body, emotions and mind. When these three areas are healthy and are related in a balanced way, then we talk about the well-being of the individual.

In our vision, paying attention to each of these three parts not only helps to overcome the problems that people experience, but also supports personal evolution and the ability to live in harmony.

Ayurveda

Ayurvedic medicine proceeds from India, where it has been practiced for more than 3,000 years. This system it is about balancing the three parts of the body using personalized treatments based on changing habits, massages and herbal and mineral remedies. But why are we talking about personalized treatments? Are there no universal remedies?

Ayurveda practitioners see the world as the expression of its three main components or doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kafa. Each one with their specific qualities reflecting archetypal energies that are traditionally associated with the elements of water, fire, air, earth and ether.

According to them, in human beings, these three doshas always mix in a different way to originate the infinite variants of constitutions and characters that we observe. Each individual will be an expression of their own energetic imprint.

As a consequence, the Ayurvedic doctor will first try to understand the original composition of the patient and then, determine what imbalance is causing the discomfort and how to proceed on it in an individualized way.

Ultimately, the doctor resorts to the largest repertoire of plants and minerals known with therapeutic applications to generate his treatments. This repertoire has been cataloged thanks to the experience of thousands of years, although its effectiveness is not always supported by modern scientific research.

Alchemy and Health

If we look at it from the perspective of history, we can state that the branch of alchemy focused on working with matter and its applications and willing to share its knowledge with the world, gave rise to the current chemical sciences.

However, the esoteric branch of this discipline, which we refer to in this document when we speak of alchemy, was focused on the path of inner, personal and spiritual development. It treated the metaphysical aspects as its real foundations and considered the chemical substances, their states and processes of material transformation as initiatic metaphors for the transmutation of internal reality. Therefore, the transmutation of ordinary metals into gold symbolizes the transition between an imperfect, diseased, corruptible and ephemeral personal state towards a perfect, healthy, incorruptible and eternal state.

There are three basic aspects of knowledge generated by alchemy that are interesting to mention in the context of their development in the medical field. None of them is supported by current scientific progress and therefore appear as unfounded for most scholars.

Traditional Elaboration

We focus our passion and knowledge on elaborating our Elixirs with the major goal of benefit people. With a special look towards India, we use plants selected during centuries of experience and observation from different traditions, and we pay the utmost attention to preserve their original characteristics.

When formulating, we rely on Ayurveda and its understanding of how energy moves in the body and what substance can benefit in each case. In addition, Ayurveda identifies four possible basic actions to act on a male physique - purify, nourish, relax and regenerate - and this idea is transferred to the development of elixirs.
